I used the 1/4 inch presser foot and it worked. It should have had a deeper groove; the foot was on top of the cord and no longer fell on it. Be very careful not to slip in either direction.

I made my husband's Honda Monkey seat cushion to fit the regular seat. I found instructions on YouTube on how to make one, but I needed a 3/16" piping foot for my Janome HD3000 and found this set at Revain. They fit my Singer Heavy Duty machine perfectly.
