Good plug/surge protector.

I needed a splitter to install under a shelf above my desk. This product did the job and the fact that it incorporated mounting holes into the case made the installation clean and easy. The cable was just the right length so I didn't have to fiddle with a bunch of extra cables.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Obvious but brilliant idea!

I've tried fitting other extensions with holes in the back and it's always given me a headache. Veltron's idea is so obvious, but nobody else seems to have thought of it! So easy to place and assemble. I've installed a few, it's an easy task and the quality is great. The only downside is that I would also like to have USB ports, that would be ideal.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Long wait

I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

Wall mount saves a lot of space. I mounted mine on the wall in the kitchen behind the coffee maker, toaster, electric can opener and blender. This allows me to push all devices firmly against the wall, because the pull-out now stands above everything and not behind it. It also makes the look cleaner.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • No paint required

Installs in seconds!

I need electricity on both sides of my garden. I bought an extension that I routed through the ceiling (to prevent people from tripping over it) and installed that extension on the other side. I didn't even have to drill holes for the screws - just used a cordless Phillips drill and the screws went right in! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Ideal for wall or table mounting

I've never liked the teardrop holes on the back of splitters used to attach with a couple of screws. It's difficult to get the correct screw spacing and placement, and the darning strips still pop out at times. They attach with two screws through the front of the extension. Easy to install, easy to get right, and they won't come loose. What's not to like?

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Finally an easy way to unscrew the extension.

. I have used surge arresters many times in our church and home and so far I have had to figure out how to carefully measure and drive the screws to attach the strips to the back. Or had to buy expensive wall suppressors. Finally something I can easily attach to the wall and not slip off the screws.

Pros
  • Great for me.
Cons
  • . No instructions.

good for the workplace good for power strips and surge protectors

There are many power strips out there. Almost all cannot be "directly" mounted to a wall or desk: they have "keyhole" slots on the back that allow them to slide freely over implanted screws. frequent plugging/unplugging requires both hands and the strip still moves excessively. This attaches directly and securely to any surface and withstands hard and repeated plugging and unplugging. It's almost certainly suitable for installation on a workbench.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
