Premium Westbrass Polished Chrome Snap-In Shower Strainer Grid (Model No. D316-26), Enhance Drainage & Prevent Clogging Review

My house was built in 1986. The search for a replacement for the original took forever. Scrolling through the gutters on Revane seemed like a futile quest. I almost fell off my chair in shock when I found it and was just as amazed when it snapped back into place.

Matches my drain perfectly and replaces the old/original plastic drain. It took a few days for it to really fit. (The first few days were a bit shaky.) I bought a round one first, which also worked, but didn't fit perfectly. The round worked well, but this one fits better.

I was looking for a shower drain with rounded edges and it fits me perfectly, it's just the right size. better than plastic. I think 15-20€ is the cheapest price. I don't know what suction has to do with a shower drain.

Intended to replace the plastic shower drain cover that came with our original shower. It's the same size, but because it's metal, it doesn't have any wiggle room to insert if it's slightly offset. We were able to put it in, but I don't think it will ever come out again. Needs a little more slack to ease installation.

The interface looks good enough. The problem was the four tabs at the bottom. They do not fix the plate in the drain hole. The panel pops out and doesn't stay flush with the floor in the shower. The small indentations on the lugs that are supposed to hold the record with friction just didn't catch on. I returned the item and bought the FIAT brand which was our original license plate. It works.

Although beautiful and strong. it pops out of a Fiat shower tray! I held a plastic Fiat and a Westbrass back to back. Westbrass is slightly rounder than Fiat. In the end it doesn't matter. The only way to keep the shower screen in place is to slightly bend all 4 pins backwards. Nice . that seems to work. Overall it looks MUCH better and is more durable than the original Fiat plastic grille that comes with the shower tray.

After stepping on the white plastic drain cap that came with the shower I was going insane trying to find a replacement. The hardware stores said they'd never seen it before, and then I found this guy at Revain. It's not perfect for mm, but it's very close to my original and fits and looks great in the shower. My plastic never wanted to stay in place, but this one has such a tight pull that I can't just pull it out once it's in place. I did not find any quality control issues that other…

Desperate to replace nasty plastic that won't clean anymore. Received the product and couldn't believe the manufacturer would put it through quality control. Everything is fine from above, but from below it's just terrible! Looks DEEPLY scratched without most of it being coated. Partially also sharp edges. Too bad I took a photo to check but have already sent it back for a refund! It's the perfect texture with those hair blemishes and dirt to collect. Cleaning the shower drain is so annoying…

This item arrived in a small box with a mesh filter inside that is well protected from scratches. As these are standard size snap on drain caps, removing the old one and installing this was just a screwdriver to pry the old one out and push down to snap the new one in place. Now I had to push it out and turn it over. 90 degrees for a better fit. There is still a small seam around it that was flush with the original plastic cover. I'm not sure why the twist made it better. After weeks of use…
