Small, sturdy and works great!

I need an easy way to attach my speedflares to my stand. 2 of these and a pair of lightweight 9" stands were perfect for my onsite work.

Pros
  • Quick changeover
Cons
  • New competition is here

Excellent and solid!

Sturdy all-metal mount for use with my Canon Speedlights and 60" Westcott Umbrella. I used these (2) the day I received them and have no complaints just that I should have bought them a long time ago. They hold both the flash and umbrella securely in place and work as expected. I'm quickly becoming a Westcott fan as this isn't my first Westcott gear and so far they've all shipped!

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Weight

Rock Solid - protect your expensive flash

I have used this type of plastic umbrella/flash mount in the past. The problem is that the thread is "squeezed" and the thread insert pops out when tightened. Almost lost the $200 flash that was on top. I ordered a pair of metal threads. They are much stronger and I no longer have to worry about an expensive flash falling out of its mount. The only thing I don't like is that the screw that holds the umbrella is quite small in diameter and can make a hole in my umbrella stick (they are hollow…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad

FEAR! NOT WHAT IS IN THE PICTURE WILL ARRIVE! (but works fine).

Westcott 5015 Bracket IS what you get and it is a VERY GOOD, DURABLE/LIGHTWEIGHT PRODUCT and I HAVE TWO AND PLAN TO ORDER MORE. But the upper is NOT the one-piece cold shoe shown. What matters is an adjustable "thumbscrew" clip on the top of your flash similar to CowboystudioUmbrella's pan/tilt mount for Nikon and Canon 430EX E580EX SB600 SB800 SB900. You don't put the flash INSIDE, you attach it to the side with a thumb clip. PICTURE SHOWN for Westcott 5015 allows Canon 430 or 580 or Pocket…

Superb shoe mount

This shoe rack is the second one I have. I already had a shoe mount light stand, but I wanted a second one because sometimes I need to shoot with two flashes. This product is great. It is very adjustable and works very well. Of course I can't compare with other products because I only know this one. However, you must be careful to properly install and securely fasten the flash onto the shoe mount. Without proper attention, the flash may fall. However, with due attention, nothing of the sort…

  • Alright!

  • Expensive
