Excellent rulers for making curved figures

Excellent rulers for creating curved shapes. I like to use them in the margins of my magazine pages for interest. Then draw, draw, sketch or embroider around them. Thank you for these wonderful tools.

Pros
  • Conveniently PACKED in a corrugated box for individual or classroom use.
Cons
  • Appearance

Gives different shapes. Acetate is strong and fully transparent, making it easy to see how the next line you draw will look in relation to the first. Also, it was fun creating abstract designs by simply using different stencils together to form a unique but cohesive design.

Pros
  • Thick transparent plastic
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

More than I thought

This is really great! If you are a creative person or are looking for a unique gift for the creative person in your life, this is an inexpensive idea. They are larger than I thought - pay attention to the sizes listed. I bought them for my daughter who loves to draw but has used them to embroider herself. Featured!

Pros
  • Includes 8 sizes of the most popular full length curves
Cons
  • unreliable

Original set

This complete set of French curves is ideal for today's professional or student use. They are robust but more flexible than my old kit from back then. The beveled edge is a new vintage flat edge design that I'm familiar with, but I find it will make it easier to hit the target. I am happy to add them to my collection and expect my heirs to trade them for vital survival items.

Pros
  • Ideal for detail work
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
