Beautiful but only 29 inches wide, not 36

This umbrella appears to be well made and my son loves it. He is 7 and a good size for him. I ordered another Batman for $14.99, I think I had to return it because it was only 23 inches wide. Very, very small for his age. However, the description says 36, which is wrong. It's only 29 inches wide. But my son likes it and it's good enough so we're keeping it.

Pros
  • Stay out of the rain with the Western Chief® Kids Camouflage Umbrella!
Cons
  • sad packaging

Great gift for a 4 year old girl

My daughter loves pink, purple, flowers etc. She asked for an umbrella and we found this one which seems to go with all of her favorite things! enough umbrella. It opens and closes easily and will withstand your beating (or your little brother playing with him). She wasn't used during a very heavy downpour as she had never been in a storm like this before, but her umbrella kept her dry during a typical Midwest downpour. She likes it, so mom and I like it. I'm glad we bought.

Pros
  • Zip tie
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great picture - poorly finished

I really liked the image quality and the accurate portrayal of Ariel. My 3 year old was so excited. However, it's already broken. It's of VERY little use, we live in San Diego, California, so we don't have a ton of rain, maybe a few rains and this umbrella goes in the trash. It wasn't a cheap product so it's disappointing. I hate writing negative reviews, so I'll say this: if you're not looking for durability, but are looking for Ariel looks, then this is a great umbrella. but if you want one…

Pros
  • The perfect size to make it easy for small hands to open and close themselves.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Very cute but not strong enough

I gave 3 stars because it's very cute and perfect for a little girl. Aside from the "plastic" frame, the rest of the parts are of pretty good quality - as good as any other kids' umbrella at this price point. My problem is that the frame is not metal. The description says plastic. I think it's more fiberglass. My almost 2 year old broke it in minutes. I attempted to repair it and found that when I touched the broken part, my hands were left with many tiny, splinter-like spikes. She still likes…

Pros
  • A hydrophobic polyester umbrella that keeps the rain out.
Cons
  • Fits
