High quality leather

I was very happy with the quality of the leather. They worked perfectly. They are long on the blanks so I had to make the strap shorter. A good product.

  • Stylish and modern design

High quality - you can't do without it!

I dared to buy these converters and now I can't live without them. If you hate tying and tying your harness on a western saddle, these converters are your dream. My horses are also more comfortable because I can balance the pressure on both sides of the saddle and use my English girths alternately, resulting in better horse movement.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • OK

Excellent quality, very easy conversion

My Tucker Gen II saddle converted with Western 7/8 rig and English girth with no problems. Saddling up is a lot easier, let alone faster. The saddle sits on my horse's back as securely as with a western harness. My wide, faded Mustang was fine with this new harness changeover, and it can be finicky about saddles/harnesses. Good product! Thank you.

Pros
  • Webbing and stitching on edges for strength
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Expensive but works

These are the only decent West English converters I could find. I bought them for a Mustang soft ride saddle and a Circle Y western saddle and they work great. They are made of high quality leather and are worth the price. Nylon based leather, that's probably trending these days, but I prefer smooth leather. Nylon sometimes makes it difficult to pass through holes. A note - you need a *dressage* girth with these (20"-35"), not the normal (jumping, 40"-56") girth.

Pros
  • A few converters (2 total)
Cons
  • Expensive

game changer! good for sport

I find western rigging a big problem so these strap converters were a great find! Thick, durable, excellent quality. A few pointers: 1. When properly attached, the coat should face outward and the rounded edge should face OUT, otherwise it may cut and irritate your horse's flanks. See the last photo in the listing.2. Use a dressage girth with a D-ring (not all dressage girths have this). Attach the harness with the D-ring facing backwards so you can attach the back strap to it (if you're usedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • premium brown leather
Cons
  • thin

Finally! Yes, you can convert a Western/Australian D belt to an English one!

I've spent endless hours figuring out how to convert a Brisbane Aussie Western and Hybrid saddle that uses a traditional rigging D-ring. Trust me, there are yet more products that will turn an English saddle into a saddle.Western rigging but I was determined to call Australia and reputable saddlery companies to see if there was a product.I stumbled across the dirt here at Revain after I had seen their advert at Elite Saddleworks in Australia They appear to be selling their converters here atโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 16.5" Billet Trapeze
