💡 Westinghouse Trans Incandescent Light Bulb - 0344600 Review

My wife and I read that these lamps are great for newborns. Unfortunately they are too light and do not fade. When you try to dim them, they flash like you're in a nightclub. Good quality but not what we are looking for.

Seller must use better tape, the clear tape didn't hold and my package was opened on both sides. The bulb is good, not as bright as I hoped but I think it will be the same, all colored lights, good product FAST SHIPPING you just have to use the best shipping tape☺️

The lamp was bought for the cage of Sid Vicious, our rock python, and it gives good color and warmth, but it only lasted 800-900 hours. We only used the bulb for 800-900 hours, which is unacceptable for a $4.53 plus tax bulb, especially when you can get 6 of these for $11.25.

I bought 4 Westinghouse 0344600 bulbs, 25w, 120v, A19 trans red bulbs - 2500 hr bulbs. One arrived at DOA with a broken thread. The second failed in less than an hour of use. I've now ordered clear instrument bulbs to see if they last more than a few minutes. I reject red!

The bulb worked for less than a month. It worked great then, it wasn't too light or too dark, it helped us breastfeed and change diapers without sacrificing sleep. I bought it because red light is said to be less glaring and doesn't suppress melatonin production like regular light does. I think it's true, but don't be cheap like me. Buy a better and more durable lightbulb than this one 🤷🏻‍♀️

I placed them in the media room to block blue light from LED TVs and computer monitors. They give soft ambient light. Incident light is not as harmful as LED or CFL (fluorescent) lighting. However; You still need white light to read. The glass is clear red glass, not painted or coated with plastic. They arrived very well packaged. None were broken. I was very pleased.

These red bulbs are great! I had a bad experience with another brand which I had to return because they gave off a burnt plastic smell for a few minutes after use. I tested them before throwing away the packaging and after more than an hour both bulbs I ordered didn't give off any smell. As for the lighting, it's a regular red light. Works perfectly. We use them to feed our baby at night.
