Burns very hot. be careful. This .

Very hot, be careful. It was attached to a tree and blown into the mulch during a storm. Even when it rained, the heat from this light set the mulch on fire. They do warn you about the heat but please make sure there is nothing flammable around or there may be children/pets around.

Don't waste your money

Don't waste your money. When I received these lightbulbs, one was ripped into pieces. others were very weak at 100 watts and useless for lighting your garden. Thought 100 watts would light up the yard but it would glow yellow instead of just white but looks like I'm going back to white. Yesterday I contacted the seller as soon as it arrived but still no response from him.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Good but not great

About 30% efficiency

I thought it would remove bugs but it still attracted a lot. I trimmed them a bit, but not exactly as planned. The light is installed right outside my front door, so I still have to warm up and count to three to get in and out as the fastest in the world. Hope other brands work better. The moths seem to be particularly fond of them, especially the big ones that look like they could knock you out. My cat gets rid of them better than these onions. Don't waste money on them. I'm still impressed…

Pros
  • OK!
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

They greatly reduce the number of insects attracted to the light, but still attract some. I believe they are still attractive because the last inch of the lamp is transparent and white light leaks out of the fixture. hoods. Well they were a good price and they seem to be in the past. (thumb head) Maybe this summer I'll try to cover the transparent part to see if it makes a difference.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Reduced bugs flying around tailgate

It has been over a year since I purchased this Westinghouse Bugs lamp. I installed it in a fully open bracket next to my back door and it has been used daily. Since we live in the Gulf Coast region, bugs fly all year round. When I had regular headlights, it seemed like every time I opened the door, one of the hovering bugs would walk inside. I noticed an immediate improvement as soon as I replaced that yellow bulb. It gives me enough light to see the yard just as well as I can with white…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unsafe

Bug Repellent Headlight Bulbs

I am happy with these bulbs which I put in my motion activated outdoor lights. They replaced the yellow onions, which were flatter on the surface and therefore a bit difficult to remove. Because these bulbs have a more convex surface, they are easier to screw in and easier to remove. They give off very good light and because they are yellow they don't attract as many bugs (I don't know what the scientific explanation for this phenomenon is). I can't predict how long they will last yet, but they
