A few years ago I had a Feit spotlight with a PAR 38 blue LED that I couldn't find anymore. Phillips and other blue fills I've tried aren't very good. They are more of aquamarine or light blue. This Westinghouse is as good as old Feith. But a lot lighter and I think maybe a little colder in terms of heat build-up. This is a super deep blue light color. Great light. I have it in an outside socket in my Christmas lights. It is around 12-15 feet tall and aims for a 30 foot blue spruce. It lights up the tree effectively. I am amazed by the brightness of the blue light. It's probably overwhelming if you're looking for everyday landscape lighting. This is ideal for special scenarios.
