I used this for pineapples and watermelons. Of course, in both cases you must first make several cuts with a knife. Otherwise it was smaller than expected. This means that you can only use small melons. Not most watermelons. Otherwise, the pineapple cutting works great.

I ordered this product because it was supposed to be a "LARGE" stainless steel cutter and when the product arrived in the mail it "NOT" handle a small watermelon! I am so disappointed in this product especially when it says "BIG" slicer.

Very difficult to use. The video gives the impression that it is easier than it looks. It feels like it might break. You literally have to use your entire body weight to push it down. However, once my husband started making it, he made large slices. *Update* June 13th tried again with a smaller watermelon, still very hard. I'm a complete waste!

Works well on small/medium sized melons. I cut off the top and bottom of the melon and then I can use that to cut the rest. Sometimes it can be difficult if the melon is too hard or has a thick skin on the outside. Sometimes you also have to press down very hard on the slicer and move it up or down until the slices are cut. I think this is a great product for smaller, softer melons.

Slice quality is very good, strong, strong and sharp. I really like it when my kids use it as much as possible. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because it's smaller than I expected. It only works with melons (even big ones) and small watermelons. A medium-sized pitted watermelon is too big to use for slicing. I would like 1.5-2 cm wider.
