Noise in right ear

Terrible buzzing/hissing in right ear. It's not noticeable at higher volumes, but I often listen to podcasts and it's very noticeable. Hopefully a competitor Bluetooth MMCX cable will work with my Pro30. I contacted Westone directly by contacting us on their website and within a few days they have not responded to a question with a solution so I will be returning it. Will update if I come to any conclusion other than buying a different brand.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • The list will be long.

I use them with my UM Pro 30 and love them so far. A removable battery basically means I have zero downtime. Just charge the battery and then the cables and so on. With BT 5.0, there is no difference in sound quality compared to wired cables. It would be nice if the kit included a clip for attaching cords to clothing. I am currently using a Shure Lav clip (see photo) and it works fine.

Two broken devices in a row, different faults

The first V2 bluetooth headphones I received had a broken docking station that didn't charge the headphones. Revain's replacement gave me the second device. It worked for four days before otherwise failing. He began to let out loud squeaks, clicks, and hisses on top of the noise. Returned the second block. Back when the second device worked, it made a good impression on me. I'm not an audiophile; My use cases are listening to podcasts and watching YouTube. I like the concept of a portable…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

Buzzing noise in right ear

I'm so disappointed apart from one glaring issue otherwise this bluetooth cable is fantastic. I have a Westone ES50 and was very happy to convert it to use Bluetooth. Battery life is great, cable quality is great, but the constant buzzing/ticking in my right ear is driving me nuts. Tried with 4 different Bluetooth devices, all the same. I don't hear this hum at all when using a regular 3.5mm cable on my ES50s. I've also never heard this sound with my other bluetooth headsets paired to the same…

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Security

DO NOT BUY, hum and buggy

Absolutely awful. For the price and based on my expectations from Westone this is an absolutely terrible product. There is constant background noise, so any quiet moments are very distracting. I tested 3 Android phones (Pixel 1, Pixel 1 XL, Pixel 3) and 2 iOS devices (iPhone SE and iPad) and they all show this buzz. Now the sound breaks off, and then a loud, shrill screech and tones are played. I had a previous generation Bluetooth Westone and they worked fine until one day they just wouldn't…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No paint required

Buzz ruins otherwise great bluetooth cable

I've been using the Westone v2 bluetooth cable for about a week now. I used v1 about 2 years ago. Westone has released some long-awaited v2 updates, but there's a big problem. Good thing: Upgrading to Bluetooth v5 fixes lip-sync issues on some video platforms, improved audio quality, and reduced, if not fixed, waking dropouts. Outside. With version 1, I often had trouble lip syncing with the YouTube app on my iPhone 7, and the audio would drop out dozens of times throughout the day. Extra…

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Westone V2 via Shure BT2

TLTR version: I ordered Westone V2 and Shure BT2 bluetooth cables and ended up keeping Westone and returning to Shure. The Westone V2s sound great when playing music, feel great outdoors or when relaxing and should be more durable over the long term. If you're even a little active, this is what you need! Similarities They both have Bluetooth 5.0, aptX HD, use MMCX audio jacks for headphones and charge via the included micro USB port. and that's it (oh, and they're obviously black). Sonic…

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • May damage
