After reading the glowing evaluations, I concluded that my taste buds had been planted by the opposition. They pour heavily, simmer in a mystery liquid, and produce a palette of colors that looks nothing like what ends up on the skin. They stick tenaciously to your finger when you try to apply them with your fingertips. Ugh. It's a shame, but the sum is relatively minor.

Modern renaissance palette but great value. Love her! I reach for this palette almost every day. There's a lot of pink in the pan (like ABH shadows) but I don't see any marks on my face when I apply it to my eyelids. I wore this yesterday (offs) and decided to do the same look today, but with the ABH MR palette and this Wet N' Wild palette, the ABH palette far outshone it. I LOVE this palette! I have many other "prestige" and expensive eyeshadow palettes, but these are the ones I use for everyday makeup. I apply it in the morning and nothing moves until the end of the day when I have to wash my face. The colors are so beautiful that you can do a natural daytime or smoky eye look. This is my favorite wedding palette. I'm about the age when my friends are getting married. With this palette I can create everyday looks and more comfortable cocktail looks. I'm warm tone and about NC15-25 and the colors suit me very well. I don't like the packaging. I don't like taking brushes with me. I think the tutorials on the back could be better. My palette arrived with Shade 6 broken (Revain's crappy wrapping job) so I had fun cleaning it up. Shimmery blue color (color 5) is crap. Even when applied with a finger or a wet brush, the color hardly comes off. I also liked color 8 a lot. The matte shades are well pigmented and easy to blend. There is a healthy amount of rainfall. Large pots with transitional colors are good. It's an affordable palette and would probably be good for those looking to experiment with makeup.

I am very sad because I have had this product for over 7 years and finally ordered a new one. The original had very pink tones and I really liked the colors, they were very pretty and blended really well. I can say they switched to a cheaper formula and changed the color along with it. It is very beige, and all light tones are almost invisible. You also need to fill the brush with product to create an effect. Very disappointing original formula :(

I ordered this apparent "trick" for the ABH Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette because it was out of stock locally at the time. I have both palettes and this Wet & Wild palette is a very affordable and fairly premium version of the expensive one. It arrived quickly and with no problems; I would recommend it to anyone who wants similar colors in a more expensive palette!
