These banana plugs were used on the lamp cable to connect the surround speaker system to the amplifier. Clear red/black markings, easy to connect wire ends, they look great and work great. My 7.1 surround sound alone required 2 more jacks to connect all the speakers. These packs came in quantities of 12, not 14.

These banana plugs are great value! They're easy to use and feel like they're made out of quality materials. There's no point in buying good speakers and then using poor quality speaker cables and not taking the time to connect them properly. These banana plugs will help you get the best sound out of your sound system.

These are great terminals if you use them for their intended purpose. They're durable and easy to connect to wires, but you can still solder the connection. What I don't like is that they are very heavy and that the whole connector is conductive. Do not connect live wires to anything, as touching the plugs will cause a short circuit.

These banana plugs are great and work with my system. The only issue I've encountered has to do with personal preference for fork type. These are capped screws and after receiving them I would have preferred to buy double screw locking plugs as I feel they hold the speaker wire more securely. Overall I'm very happy with these plugs, they deliver great sound in my home theater.

There are only two things I don't like. First, the plug pivots into the mounting hole. While they provide a solid electrical connection, they wobble in the terminal post. This leads to the second problem, which is that they are not isolated. Connected to a standard double clamp, they can be touched with very little effort. Therefore I had to cover the candles with transparent shrink tubing to avoid short circuits. But after it was finished I'm happy with them and have no other problems.

These banana plugs work best with 12 AWG stranded wire. If heavier gauge wire is used, the insulation may not fit inside the sleeve. If smaller diameter wire is used, there will be a gap in the barrel when the bushing is inserted and the wire will become loose. The red and black plastic rings can be removed for a tighter fit. My only wish is for the case to be fully seated in the barrel when bolted down to support any gauge of wire.

Each consists of 3 parts and previous users who claimed the tips were loose didn't seem to understand that you only need to tighten the tip. I used these along with 12g speaker wire and paracord outer sleeve to make speaker wire between my receiver and the outlet. The black and white and red and white paracord sheath barely reaches the back of the fork. Once you have determined the length of wire to be left in front and bent, this process will be quick and smooth. For the price I paid, $19.99…

Very nice clamps. They work as expected. They really save time when trying to run a wire through those little holes on the back of the receiver was a headache, so they work very well. The connections are tight and I haven't found anything wrong with them yet. Just turn the case, insert the wires and screw the case, done. Remember you are buying them for the recipient. I was wrong and thought my speakers could use them too, but they work. Unless you have speakers that you can use these clips…
