Too slow. barely extends to the edges of a standard sized board, let alone attach it to the board. And the straps it fits/stays with don't work - tighten them one way, they're too short; on the other hand they are too long. Bad design!. It's a shame because the quality is otherwise very good.

I bought an ironing board from another site and the cover that came with it was so thin that it didn't have enough material to absorb a small amount of water when used due to the spray function of the iron itself. . Buying THIS cover was a quick decision. It is adjustable, looks good and is the right thickness.

I had no trouble getting the straps to work as mentioned by others which actually makes me wonder if they have ineffective straps or if I didn't notice that they were attached with velcro and doubled in length when untied .
