📦 Stackable Wire Grid Utility Shelf by Whitmor Review

I love these shelves. I bought these because I was removing the ice maker which was taking up too much freezer space. After the machine was removed, I needed shelves to allow for stacking space instead of piling up food and throwing it out every time I open the freezer door. These shelves fit perfectly. I like that they fold and feel well made. :)

When I redeemed them on June 25, they were $13 each. Now they want more than $20. I need two more, but I don't want to be fooled by the price. This is a good product for the price of $12-13. They are not worth more. It's just average quality wire shelving, not very strong, not particularly strong or sturdy, not as good as a piece of decent plywood (which I'll use instead). all products, if you can't sell them at a fair price then don't sell them.

I use these stackable shelves to store homemade preserves in a spare closet in my spare bedroom. They are very durable and very useful. I have them in almost every cupboard or closet in my house. I wouldn't go much higher than what I've done for heavy pitchers or glasses, but it would be great for bedding or clothing. You can't go wrong with these shelves. I would definitely buy again and again. And I have!

This shelf is just what I needed. Looks good, feels good and feels sturdy. The heavy wire frame is well painted and smooth. Initially there were no legs (for a shelf) in the package. The package itself was intact, well sealed and undamaged. It seemed like the legs just didn't come with the shelf. Whitmore customer service quickly sent me a replacement item. All in all I think it was a very good experience.

These shelves were exactly what I needed and I thought the price was very reasonable. Online measurements were correct. I used them to organize my large kitchen cabinets with no shelving, making my pantry 1000x more organized. The legs open and "lock" a bit, so they are very strong. The mesh openings are quite large. So if you plan to stack flimsy items like spice jars, you might want to opt for something with a denser mesh. Overall a good purchase and I will buy again when I need more…

I like that they don't need to be assembled, just unpack, pull out the legs and they are ready to use. I have very tall shelves in my pantry, so I had to find practical shelves that could be safely folded down to make the most of my large space. I needed at least 7.5 inches of clearance under the shelf so I thought it would be perfect when I read it was 8 inches high and ordered it without hesitation.
