Haven't tried it myself but my dog loves it

Haven't tried it myself as I won't eat dog food because I'm not a dog. But we've been giving this to our dog since he was a puppy (we bought the puppy recipe) and switched to the adult recipe at a year old. He never had a problem with food, but then again, he didn't have a problem with food either. This seems to support his weight well and he poops regularly. We tried gradually moving to something more expensive and with more ingredients, but it didn't work, so we went back to it. I would say…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Only available in black

This food has changed since Purina bought the company!

I have been feeding my two furry puppies this food for several years and was initially amazed at how much my dogs loved the taste and the improvements I was seeing in their skin and coat. Fast forward to the last bag I got, we're already halfway there. Both of my dogs have had diarrhea since we started using this bag. I was desperate so I did some research and found out that Purina was buying the company. I don't know what they did with the food but my dogs don't take the change. I'll throw…

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • No Result

My dog has been using it for almost two years now and loves it. I just opened new packaging for it and the pieces were smaller than usual. I thought it might just be a new batch of groceries. It's similar to the puppy recipe we gave him when he was younger, but the packaging says 'adult recipe'. I gave him his first portion and he ate very slowly. Then he vomited and now he won't even eat a bite. I believe this is puppy food wrongly packaged as adult food because he's never had a problem with…

Pros
  • GOLS certificate

Favorite food of Golden Retrievers

We have been feeding our Golden Retrievers this food for many years. It is nutritionally superior to most other brands on the market. I've reordered countless times from Amazon, but it's always fun. You never know what to expect when it's delivered. Sometimes the bag looks like it was knocked over by a truck, other times it's ok. I wish it was a little cheaper because I saw another seller once had it a little cheaper, but that didn't include easy shipping. Either way, my dog seems to like the…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Few mistakes

Changed formula leads to dog illnesses and high vet bills

My dog is severely allergic to many of the ingredients in most dog foods. After searching for 1000 (NO EXCESS) we found this brand and the connection it could take. She lived on it for more than a year and proved herself well. She still needed her daily prescription of Apoquel allergy medication, but for the most part she didn't suffer as she did with other dog foods. My dog is allergic to beef, venison, soy (any form), flax (any form), pea (any form) and lots of it. Even the smallest amounts…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some difficulties
