Good charger/replacement charger.

Charges a 6V battery. My 1st ran on about 10.5VDC so it had good electrical potential to keep the performance battery charged. The second was 9.15vdc out of the box and still a good charger. On the south side of each steel or plastic barrel are 2 self-tapping screws with rubber grommets for water ingress. 2' flexible steel tubing with 2' bare wire. Alligator clips at the end. Use electrical tape to hold all connections together and not short inside the feeder body.

Terrible instructions but it worked.

Terrible instructions. I just figured it out myself and everything worked out (in my opinion). Check out my photos to see how I made it. I used the included twisted tie to hold the loop in place to take up the slack and create a low point for water to drain. Drill a hole and screw in 4 screws and you're done. Connect to the battery and you're done. I haven't had enough time to honestly assess how it charges. I hope this helps keep my 6 volt system charged.

Excellent product - solar and wind power

I bought this device because it turned out to be well finished and it did not disappoint me, it is well finished in every respect. I bought to power my Acurite 5 in 1 Weather Center which was using 4 Duracell worth of batteries every two weeks so I tried Lithium and they only lasted 3 weeks. I've hardwired this solar panel to the weather center and installed rechargeable batteries and it's been running for over a month with no sign of needing to replace the batteries so far so good. Big money…

worked well for deer feeder

Initial review found it was smaller than expected but worked well for charging my 6v battery for my Wildgame Innovations deer feeder. The cable was long enough to reach the control box and battery. As well as protected wiring. For example, as on Revain, there was a list of packages in which there were recommendations for the purchased feeder. Very good assembly instructions and comes with self-tapping screws. This is necessary for the wild eater. Note: Other customers have indicated that this…

Good investment great charger

I bought this solar charger to replace one that was damaged during a hunt hire. It worked flawlessly for almost 3 years when my feeder's battery was fully charged and working. I connected a dead 6 volt battery, the multimeter showed 0 volts. In bright sunlight, the solar panel showed 6.4 volts, charging the battery. In the evening I had 6.2 volts in the battery. ATTENTION! Some manufacturers supply these chargers with the wiring reversed. If your solar charger shows a minus (-) in front of the…

6V emergency backup charger

Unit has approximately 4-1/2 feet of cord. The small alligator clips are colored to match. 2 feet 2 inches from the solar panel is reinforced with a flexible metal sheath that has a set of screw couplings that allow it to be attached to metal bulkheads to avoid stress on the cable. 2 inch in transparent plastic housing. A metal mounting plate for the feeder is included; screws included. The panel's measured output voltage in bright sunlight was 9 volts with no load. This small panel was…
