Cheap brush. Not worth your money at all.

I started using a mug and a brush when I was in college. My dad used this for many years and left me his old mug after he decided to switch to shaving cream. I used it throughout college to save money. Plus, with the shaving cream then available, I could get a closer, longer shave with a mug of soap and a brush. I use it to this day. Brushes were easy to find then and everywhere. Not so much today. I have and still use one of the old days which can be pretty worn but still better than this one.

Pros
  • Brilliantly Done
Cons
  • Fading

Six months and still on top

I wasn't expecting much for the price but I had no problems. This is my first shaving brush and I only had the expected wear on a few bristles in the first few uses. No smell I notice does a good job prepping my bear with shaving soap with the new Parker 99R I bought at the same time. Shaving with a safety razor instead of the razor blades I used to use is a lot more enjoyable than a chore.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Nice brush but probably won't last long.

Not sure if I received a defective part but the bristles fall off with every shave. It also ruins your shaving experience a bit as the bristles will continue to stick to your face along with the foam and you will have to pull them off your face and start over. The plastic handle can be a bit slippery. But at this price I can't really complain as it still gets the job done!

Neat brush. for shaving accessories

Discreet shaving brush. It's not as soft as other brushes, but it holds the bristles better than soft ones. The handle has a more square shape, which makes it easier to hold while shaving. It can appear a bit rough sometimes if you don't put enough soap on it. This will help make good lather out of the soap. I really wish it had retained more of its bristles. While better than some of my softer brushes, it still loses bristles in the soap dish. Rinsing and cleaning is easy enough, it doesn't…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Unfashionable

hard shaving brush

for those looking for a traditional classic Wilikinson Sword is a brand that will make you feel nostalgic. Nice to see a good quality hard brush. I used the brush daily and like regular brushes, it breaks after a few uses. gratitude

Nice brush best in shaving accessories

I wasn't expecting much from this brush when I bought it and it has exceeded all of my expectations. The brush is well made, the bristles are thick and the handle is smooth. The handle is not to my liking as it is oval rather than round. I don't seem to fit my hand very well because I have big paws. The brush is of excellent quality and has a good base for hard soaps.

Pros
  • feel good
Cons
  • empty

Good shaving brush for beginners

Wilkinson Sword supplied a very good quality boar bristle shaving brush. The bristles are packaged in a hard plastic base, which is fine because sometimes wood doesn't last as long as you'd like due to water seeping into the wood. This is great for beginners and novices and allows them to get used to using the item and later if they look for something more to their liking then they have a base level. It hasn't been used enough to see if the bristles will break or come loose. Cleaning is easy…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Some shades
