It works like a charm

I wanted to upgrade my 13 inch A1502 and this unit fits perfectly. It's just an adapter, not a kit, so you'll need your own screwdrivers to open your MacBook. Also, in my case, I had to format the SSD externally, otherwise some of the files needed to boot won't install and show up on the old SSD, even though it has nothing to do with the adapter. Just follow the instructions for the software on YouTube and you'll be good. My sleep function works, I see no difference. I also installed a new…

Easy to set up and works great

Used to install nvme disk in 2017 27" iMac. It was very easy to install and fit a logical port and nvme is solid without worry that it comes loose.. With this I was still able to use the standard screw positions to hold the SSD in place.Roughly 2800 read/writes using the BlackMagic benchmark, which is exactly what I expected from the drive used. No sleep/wake problems or other issues.

This M.2 nVME SSD adapter board is amazing! Excellent goods!

This M.2 nVME SSD adapter card has just been used to upgrade my new i9 5K iMac to a larger 1TB M.2 nVME SSD and is by far one of the most essential products that were included in my update. The adapter has been working great since I installed it a few weeks ago! I highly recommended this product!

Pros
  • Memory Card Adapter
Cons
  • Expensive

It's very tight, but it works.

Well, the SSD that came with my MacBook Pro A1502 was already stuck, and this adapter was even tighter. I had to put in a lot of effort to install it, but not so hard that it looked like it was about to break. Aside from that, I installed my Western digital NVMe drive and my MacBook now has 1TB of storage compared to them. it easily comes in at 128GB and I don't have to worry about running out of space for a very long time.

Pros
  • Memory card accessory
