Williams 13604A Black Adjustable Wrench Review

Well made and will hold up. Used in a hydraulic workshop, so they are often abused. Holds up very well even when used in combination with a precise punch to remove a stubborn fitting that has been rusting under a bulldozer for a number of years. I'm only giving it four stars because of the color. I work in a shop, but I used to work in the field as well. A black key in the sun on a hot day can be very uncomfortable to use.

This is a very nice key. It is also a birthday gift. I can talk about their qualifications. I don't really know anything about wrenches, I just ordered what someone else chose, but it looks good, the price seemed reasonable to me and it arrived quickly. The box was HUGE. more than necessary as this item is clearly not fragile. This is just a small observation.

This key clearly states JH Williams, CHINA. I have several 6" adjustable wrenches, one good quality from Craftsman and a few others from different manufacturers that are junk. "This cheap Chinese key falls into the latter category. I thought, "Sure, Snap-on and JH Williams (I know an old American company based in Buffalo) make good products. This isn't one of them. I'm sad that Snap-on is putting their reputation on the line by using their name for this junk. The finish looks like matte black…
