Williams Shaving Soap 1 75 Pack Review

I started using a straight razor with a double-edged blade about a year ago, mostly out of nostalgia. I switched to the second track when Gillette first made them, but I think they're too expensive so I used cheap imitations. I love this shaving soap. We've been using it for over 40 years. Longs Drugs stopped selling it and I was on my last when I found this multipack at Revain. Better than any canned shaving cream. But I'm a fan of shaving brushes, so I only use Williams. You can't beat the amount of lather and preparation of the beard for a close shave. Thanks for the great shaving soap.

I used to use this product to shave with a brush. When I couldn't find it in my previous sources, I went online to Revain and found what I was looking for almost immediately. Then I had to choose the product I needed from several available ones. I went with a product I'm familiar with and the price was competitive. Another plus was that it was delivered within the promised time frame.

I used to buy this shaving soap at my local Walgreen's. I stopped driving. I think shaving soap is the most economical and eco friendly choice (no spray can, no plastic tube and no very weird ingredients) so I was disappointed. Luckily Revain has it for the same price (or maybe a little less) and PharmaPacks got it here as promised. The soap has a thick lather and an old fashioned smell and works well.

There are a lot of shaving soaps out there and I've tried a lot when I switched from razor blades to safety razors. Of all the options, I think this is the best. After going through several options, I realized that this is the ideal option. The foam is nice. Lathers fast, smooth shave. I have enough bars for at least a month. Maybe even a month and a half? I bought this because of the price. It wasn't even worth the low price. I don't know what the ingredients are but unlike other brands it doesn't melt in the microwave to fill my shaving mug. Strange. Also, it doesn't keep the lather on your face long enough to get through a shave. I would think otherwise than this poor quality from a brand like Williams but I hate giving this product a star at all. Shipping was fast, ordering is easy so the supplier deserves top marks but the product doesn't.
