Wilton, a name you can trust, right? My American C0 bullet is perfect. So I wanted more perfection and was willing to pay more for it. I ordered a Wilton 11696 vise for a 6" cross-slide drill press, knowing they were offshore but expecting Wilton to manage production to meet American manufacturing standards. Fail. empty base. Void in cast nut. The upper shaft is bent. The aluminum knobs are so dirty they won't turn. Two steel protrusions, not paying attention to the surface finish, are twisted.

I have other Wilton voices that I am very happy with when I needed a unit for my drill press. I don't hesitate to spend extra money to get a quality tool, when it arrived it was very solid and well made.
