Wilton 399 5004 14 Piece Support Purple Review

Very difficult to cut tubes to desired length; the cakes did not sink into each other but left too much chatter between them. I also used cakeboards. I'll try them again and put them deeper into the brownies.

I love this attack system from Wilton. This makes stacking cakes very easy, especially for beginners. I accidentally forgot to put the flat toppers on my last tiered cake and it still held up well. And they are reusable! Wilton Cake Boards have a pre-cut hole for easy stacking.

I am new to cake making and had an accident with a wedding cake a year ago. After that I decided to quit baking cakes. Eventually I got over it and decided to put up with another wedding cake. After extensive research I bought this product and it was a great decision. I watched Wilton's YouTube tutorial on using rods and learned how to use them. I stuck a 1/4" dowel in the center piece and was able to deliver this four tier cake with no problem. I've also used Wilton support rods with caps.
