Great for the kitchen and dining room

I hate ordering a margarita where the bartender wets the glass by sticking ice and then salt on it. The salt is uneven around the edge, and who wants a lot of salt in one sip? This device creates the perfect amount of salt, evenly distributed around the rim of the glass. Fill the container with lime juice, cover with a sponge, dip the glass in the lime juice, then salt. Perfect every time.

Pros
  • Made of ABS
Cons
  • Only available in black

Extremely speeds up the margarita making process

We offer some margaritas at our Tiki Bar in Cedar Key, Florida. This product helps and helps when you have dozens of drinks and a number of thirsty people are waiting for their drinks. Tip: Don't put lime juice in the sponge compartment to wet the rim unless you empty it and wash it in the dishwasher every night. You can just add a few drops of water, just enough to wet the sponge and it will hold the salt perfectly on the edge. The bugs came for lime juice

Pros
  • Folds into a small package for easy storage
Cons
  • Something different

It is what it is. fits salt and sugar rims

Arrived quickly. Read some reviews of other glass cutters exactly where it was a little "jerky" to open them. This "top" opens relatively gently. (That's at least the case with me). But it pulls a little. You need to lift the top a little and then move it. The "sponge" in the lime juice area is removable so you can use it or not. Or take it off to wash. In addition to the salt department, there is a sugar department. Other than that, it's your regular black rimmer that you'll see at the bar…

Pros
  • Fits cocktail glasses up to 5-1/2" in diameter
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled
