The jar looks great but the design is awful. Every time you pour it, oil will spill out, the jet will be uneven, and when you dip it down, there will be a puddle of oil wherever you put it. Goodbye marble countertops, now they're in oil cans everywhere. Under it you need to use a plate. I would return it but I don't think it's possible.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It looks really cool in my kitchen and makes me pretend to be a chef when using it. Other reviewers have mentioned that the bottom leaks, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. After use, a drop or two of oil will sometimes slip down the spout, but that's to be expected with oil. I keep it on a small saucer in case that happens. Love it.

Updated in 6 weeks. There is some leakage around the bottom seal. Not enough to overflow, but there is definitely a thin line of oil around the seal. After wiping it off and letting the jar sit for an hour, the oil returned. I don't think this can will last very long. I also see a few small rust spots under the handle. I deducted a star.
