Great for travel, this standalone bag lets folds up easily into its own little pouch, and the color and material look great!Because the pack is repackable, it has no structure, making it best for short-term use and non-fragile items (unless you're packing them in something to protect them). The straps are quite thin and the overall size is quite small, slightly larger than some kids backpacks but definitely big enough for a day trip with extra clothes and essentials for example. I have had several backpacks including one from Eddie Bauer but this is by far the largest, most durable and most like a real backpack compared to a lightweight 'spare wheel' backpack. On the plus side, it holds quite a bit and has comfy padded straps, zip pockets and side mesh pockets, and it's heavy so won't rip if you load it with books or other heavy items. I think the real benefit of this product is the ability to make it compact and attach to anything.
