Bought for my son. He has a big head and could wear it, but the wires inside make it less stretchy than a regular knit hat. He said it was tight. It fit my small adult female head better. The design and colors are fully consistent with those advertised. The lights are decorative and fun, not distracting or too crazy. The battery is easy to get, it is in a pocket in the cap. UPDATE: I contacted Windy City News through Revain regarding a defective hat. They very quickly replaced the one that didn't work. The new one works perfectly. So in the end I have zero complaints. Arrived on time. Bought 2 and both work. Don't forget to turn on the switch hidden in the pocket on the hat. Then there is an on/off button on the front of the hat.
