A good product. not small and cheap like others.

Rugged construction and value for money. $10 Can't beat the price! I've used mine on a few minibikes. You will likely need to modify your own mount/hinge.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • -

Do not buy! for gearbox

bullshit. Monster Moto was riding 212 and it broke causing my chain to fall off and locking the rear wheel. Do not recommend this product may cause serious injury if it fails while driving.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Solid fix for homemade #35 kart chain

Made the weld out of a 2 inch 1.5x1.5 angle shackle. Uses a 1/2"1" screw for assembly. No spring required, easily holds chain in place to prevent bending. Roll spins without chewing. Perfect for my application.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Nothing

Not the same - chains and sprockets

Does not match product description. Nothing welded, just pressed in. The roller pin flexes and flexes as the chain is taut. Makes a lot of noise. But it works and the delivery was in one day so it was amazing. Prevents the chain from snagging on the housing and keeps it taut to prevent the chain from coming off the sprocket.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not the best

Item arrived quickly. Pretty big and heavy metal. The roller is not black like in the picture! .It is white! How Goofy! . Plenty of play and play in the pin that the reel runs on. .Should come with a shoulder screw to attach it. I never used it, came up with my own idea. Threw it in a box. maybe it works with the bike? NO! .I will not buy this again!

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Works great with Old Style Doodlebug

Need a chain tensioner for my old Doodlebug that works with 212 Predator and TAV. That works great. I didn't bother using the spring that came with the kit and just installed it by hand before unscrewing the damn screw that holds it in place with a bang. No complaints and I will be buying another for another mini bike project I have. You need a bracket welded to the frame to mount it on your mini bike.

Pros
  • Excellent Design
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Decent but don't expect much

Considering the price I shouldn't have expected much. The arm itself appears solid, but everything else isn't. The screw to which the idler pulley is attached had a bad thread, which meant the nut could not be screwed in properly. The idler pulley itself is not mounted and is free to rotate on the bolt. I'm aware but I was hoping to reuse the tensioner with the bearing but the shaft on the arm is too large in diameter. Spring was the last. There simply isn't enough tension being applied to keep

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Only available in black

Update/cutscenes suck! I will use them for more swaps.

Update, rollers suck. All 4 crashed in 2. One of them didn't last 8 trips around the block. One of them didn't even survive 3 trips around the block. One lasted a total of about 3 hours and yesterday one broke down after about an hour of driving. A great part to replace and hassle free chain tensioning. Additional equipment improves the use of the product. If you have all the factory hardware and role from your DB30, you can get it working. Additional hardware is required for a cleaner and more

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • So-so
