Espresso Winsome Wood Dylan Snack Table Review

I don't comment much but this one had such terrible reviews I thought I had to. Even after seeing all the bad reviews and photos I bought them as I bought a wine cabinet from the same brand and I love it. They arrived undamaged and looked and functioned as expected. If you get something smaller by all means send it back but I'm happy with what I got for the price. The only criticism is the color scheme. I am replacing my Bombay Company tables which I bought in 2003 and they are still good but one is broken. In my opinion these Winsomes are good but nowhere near Bombay quality and finish. Made in Thailand and supplied with non-recyclable plastic. The most disappointing "feature" is that the table stand rests on the surface of the table. The tables are well designed. of course for a cheap TV table set. However, the table stand is not durable at all. In fact, the screws don't even go in - two of mine just screwed in without hitting the wood. So I can't use the frame and certainly can't move it. I tried to return it which would be difficult as it was unboxed. So Revane suggested I contact the dealer. I'm still trying to get approval and had to show proof of purchase twice. This is our second set of these tables - the first lasted an amazing 5 years, used very heavily for kids crafts, parties, late night TV room dinners and my electronics/aviation experiments with soldering irons and razor knives etc. They work still good but countertops look rough. These are well-made tables that remain stable and have absolutely no play even with heavier loads such as an Alienware 18" and 17" laptop or several volumes of Jane's All The Worlds Aircraft.
