Description of 🎨 Winsor & Newton 16 x 20 Professional Linen Canvas

Strong and durable, linen remains the preferred surface for many artists. Made from the fibers of the flax plant, harvested in western Europe. The warp and weft threads weigh the same, meaning they are less prone to expansion or contraction due to moisture. Retains its natural oils, which helps to preserve the fibers flexibility and stops the canvas from becoming brittle. Has a more 'natural' weaved finish than cotton

Cannot pro stretcher sizing

There is a small open line on the back that should only be slid with a fingernail inserted into the open line to allow the plastic pro stretcher to fit the corners of the Canvas. That does not work. He doesn't move. This does not change the size of the stretcher. I tried moving the Pro-Stretcher with pallet spatulas. Nothing works to make the stretcher frame fit my canvas. I am extremely disappointed.

The canvas still hits the wooden pegs and when the paint is applied I'm sure there will be a line. But what irritates me is the ending. At the edges there are places where there is no plaster. In addition, the gesso itself appears "plastic" - unlike the usual gesso that might be applied. Overall, given the marketing of…

Amazing quality canvas, shipping and handling not very good

I bought 3 canvases, 2 30 x 40 inches and 1 24 x 36 inches Best you can get Shipping & Handling: With both canvases, the sent separately, something went wrong. Of course, the damage is not on the main surface, and these small scratches and dents around the edges can easily be repaired with some plaster but this defeats the purpose and practicality of buying a stretched and pre-primed canvas . I have to say the boxes they came in are pretty good and there were no dents on the packing boxes…
