Don't judge by the photo!

Okay, let me start by saying they're warm enough. As long as you don't have to touch snow or water, you're fine. But it's snowing here in the Northeast. Normally when I wear gloves I inevitably have to wipe the snow off the car or play snowball fights with the kids etc. These are NOT waterproof gloves but a soft, absorbent outer material which absorbs water and then freezes your gloves. hands in snowballs! I got this to try because my son took my gloves the last time it snowed and when I saw…

Warm basic gloves: gloves and mittens

If you are looking for inexpensive, well-made and warm winter gloves, these fleece gloves are the right choice. They fit a little big for the grown-ups, but the elasticated wrists prevent them from slipping down. Not exactly the look you want to wear with a dressy coat as the material is pretty utilitarian and the fit doesn't really match. They keep your hands warm on dry days, while the fleece fabric wicks moisture on muddy days.

Warmth, technology, comfortable fit

We are impressed with the high quality and warmth of these gloves and the microfiber technology that makes this possible. This is an important feature for residents of the northern United States and Canada on cold winter days. We were surprised by the comfortable fit of the "one size fits all" statement (for most men). High quality is the winner of winter.”

Not very comfortable in winter

I only wear gloves when it's snowing. It snowed tons this year so I ordered these gloves. If you just go upwind they are adequate but still bulky and flimsy. If you actually touch the snow, it will melt and go right into your hands. It's how they're made. Imagine a fleece jacket. Cut it into pieces and make gloves out of them. That's it. Not a good design. Useless in winter weather.

Good accessory Gloves

Good gloves - fit just right. They are quite warm, comfortable and soft. I would argue that photos of someone skiing with them may be misleading - they are not waterproof and I would not use them when actively using my hands in the snow/cold. For walking outdoors and generally just keeping warm, although they are great. Another limitation is that they don't work with a touchscreen - many gloves now allow this. I really like them but make sure this type of gloves is what you are looking for…

The gloves are warm but these gloves are not waterproof

These gloves are definitely warm. The lining and fleece will keep your hands warm in harsh conditions, which is great. What may or may not be deceiving, depending on whether you pay attention to the materials used in these gloves, is that they aren't truly waterproof. They can only keep your hands warm for a period of time when they get wet. Much better than cotton, but still. Don't expect these gloves to repel water, snow etc and keep the material dry. The material is very susceptible to…

Excellent warm gloves for COLD weather, more.

I write to my husband: Thinsulate definitely keeps you warm in these gloves. The gloves are thick and insulating, although they are NOT waterproof. They are so heavy that when combing down the long driveway outside, the moisture hasn't fully penetrated the glove. It is wonderful. But unless they're waterproof, I wouldn't be able to wear them all day knowing I'd be working in wet weather. I'm usually big, got a big one, they were too big but serviceable. I advise you to order one size smaller by

Very nice gloves

I was hoping to wear these gloves. Hypersensitive skin for those who live in the great white north. The fabric doesn't suit me, but I wouldn't give it less than five stars because if you live somewhere in a slightly more temperate climate and your hands react normally to most fabrics, they really are very good. I would recommend them, but not for serious outdoor work in the Northern States or Canada. You look great and in this context you will be very happy.
