A quick solution just perfect enough

I use wireedit to modify my pcaps via wifi, which is not available with other toolsets like wireshark/wireshot etc - plus it's cross platform (Mac & Linux). There are some bugs that make me feel uneasy when using this software but they usually get solved fast so no big deal there! The documentation could be better overall; sometimes you have problems finding what exactly your problem might solve or where things go wrong if something goes haywire while running in debug mode. If you want an easy…

Pros
  • Easy to learn
  • Fast learning curve (for beginner)
  • Not required specific certifications / training courses.
  • Very few steps needed between two points.
  • Allows one perform operations directly within GUI itself rather than being dependent only scripts written elsewhere
  • Able To Debug Using Breakpoints As Well With Code Included Within Software Which Is Useful For Hardware Configuration Errors Also ! :)It Provides User Friendly Interface And Works Just Great On Both Windows Or Mac
Cons
  • There are troubles

Easy-to Use Pcap Editor Software for Linux

As mentioned above, this program is used to edit my packets in order so that I can analyze them using other programs such as wireshark or tcpdump without having any issue (or corrupting anything). It also makes it easy when you have multiple interfaces connected at once since there are filters which helps sort through things quickly if needed by pulling up only what's relevant right away! In all honesty though; nothing really comes negative about wireedit itself because everything works quite…

Pros
  • To navigate around.
  • Very helpful for filtering out unwanted data from packet captures before saving.
  • No restrictions whatsoever regarding formats saved within
  • Many options available including custom ones created
  • Great display screen during capture process providing quick access information
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Best free option available when Wireshaper fails

It has almost all features of wireshark, but is very easy to use out of box with no learning curve! Also it supports several languages that make coding in java or python really quick to write! The UI could be improved by adding some more advanced tools like filters (it's not intuitive if you're newbie). If you need an open source tool to perform your own network analysis then try wire edit first before spending big bucks on proprietary ones! I'm solving problems which would have been solved…

Pros
  • I think it's very intuitive and easy to use, and it's great for learning
Cons
  • The UI could be improved
