Replacement controllers do not slide or snap into the hand mount as smoothly as I had hoped. It was like trying to fit a very large piece into a medium sized slot. Conclusion: The new controllers work. That's all that really matters.

I bought these to replace the joysticks on my switch because they are more ergonomic. They were charging when I received them, but the right joycon stopped charging after running out of juice. Don't waste your money and just buy directly from Nintendo. I do not recommend it to anyone.

This item was purchased as a replacement for an original Nintendo Switch Joy-Con. The Joy-Con works great, but the cases for the original Joy-Con will not fit because they are slightly larger. Grandchildren will immediately notice the difference. I'm glad these replacements work, otherwise I would really have PROBLEMS 😃!

The controllers just plugged into my switch. I brought these controllers with me as my old controllers were drifting. The only downside to purchasing these controllers is that they didn't come with written instructions on how to connect the controllers to the Switch. I had to search but they are very good.

Doesn't charge from switch, doesn't fit in grip (too wide), needs to resync every time switch turns off. Beware of 5 star reviews. They offered us a gift card in exchange for one. We were hoping this would solve our drifting problem and replace the official Nintendo joysticks, but my son prefers to drift. waste of money. Ps - over the years we have bought many controllers from other manufacturers without any problems. These just don't even come close.

Also the product reviews here are not legal (they refer to the mouse pad and keyboard). Controllers cause the original switch controls to disconnect from the system. Oh, and you still need the original Switch controller to turn it on. Well if you only play single player games I think you're ok, but if you mean some 2 player games forget it. After all, you can't even tell who did it. Pooh. I only had to send it back a few hours later.

I decided to try it a week after delivery and used it daily. A few comments from my point of view. Typically this is the same as the standard Nintendo joysticks. The only thing really is if you want to put them in a controller shape (unless you have a Switch Pro controller) they don't match the curves on them.
