No stretch, keeps slipping

When used as a chest strap, the straps on my backpack keep slipping. With dozens of pounds of gear on my back, I don't have time to sort and find loose straps.

Great for extra support and comfort

Great but they come off easily. I put a piece of rubber band (elastic) in each adjustable buckle and that fixed the looseness but made the position permanent.

TERRIBLE DESIGN: NO STRAP LENGTH ADJUSTMENT ON THE FRONT BUCKLES

This product has a design flaw that makes it virtually useless as a backpack chest strap. Quick-release front buckles are sewn into the shoulder straps, which do not allow you to adjust the length of the chest strap on the buckle, regardless of the length of the loop that attaches the chest strap to the backpack shoulder strap. This makes it almost impossible to adjust the chest strap tension while wearing a backpack without removing the backpack. This model needs to be redesigned to match the…
