8.90 millimeter outer diameter valve shim kit contains 3 of different thicknesses. 8.90 millimeter shim kits fit most KTM 250F and 450F motors. These kits are expertly manufactured to OEM specifications with optimum materials. To ensure long service life, each shim is heat treated and precision ground to exact sizes. The perfect complement to Wiseco's complete line of valve train components.

Not used yet but seems just what I need

Good range for hobbyists 3 of each size are well organized in a storage case. Looks well made and doesn't cost a fortune. The seal didn't need to be replaced, but I'll check next time.

About 1/8 the cost of the proposed kit.

At around 1/8 the price of the same kit offered by BMW you can't go wrong. I read an independent test by a member of the BMW forums that showed the dimensions and hardness of the material on the Rockwell scale to be consistent with their BMW counterparts.

The spikes are great, but there aren't many of them.

When adjusting the valves on my S54, I quickly ran out of the required sizes because the kit only contains 3 pieces. Next time I do this job I'll either order 2 sets or just the extra sizes 2.16 - 2.34mm. This seems to be the area you'll be using the most on the s54.

The product received does not match the description. Very deceitful and unfortunate.

Received the wrong item together. The advert clearly states a gasket kit containing 5 gaskets of 47 different gauges each for a total of 235 gaskets. Receive a shim kit listing 3 shims each in 23 different thicknesses for a total of 69 shims. Only received 68 pads. Not happy at all.
