Excellent Quality - Computers and Accessories

Just what I needed to complete my J-Pol antenna. The plug accepted the solder with no problem and the insulator didn't melt from the 100 watt iron.

great quality - computer cable adapter

I used the American version ($40) in the 70's. I was looking for it the other day and came across these. They seem to be built quite nicely. For the $ they are worth trying.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Well made, used for 1:1 balun

Take a gray electrical junction box from Home Depot and other parts - I made a 1:1 balun and used these connectors on my RG8X - worked fine, no problems with the socket to connect , like other brands.

Pros
  • Scope of delivery: 5 pcs. PL-259 coaxial connector
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good quality, good tolerances, good value for money.

I wanted to buy amphenol but the next day I wanted plugs. They are well made and have tight tolerances so both connectors accept the connector smoothly with no sticking. The insulating core is made of high quality PTFE and does not melt. The quality of the metal is very good, the central pin is gold plated and well finished. They're almost as good as Amphenol for half the price. I like to use them in my magnetic loop antenna. Good value for money. I would buy again without hesitation.

Pros
  • Never worry about security issues again. Confident in the quality of our connector, we are willing to offer a 1-MONTH replacement warranty and 100% quality guarantee. If you have unfortunately received a defective one, please contact our support team.
Cons
  • Lean Instructions

Assembling my next antenna

I will bend by bending 4 brass rods, threading the bent ends and attaching the bent ends to the four screw holes. Then I attach the fifth brass rod to the center pin. Finally I trim all 5 brass rods to 1/4 the wavelength I want to transmit. (2 meters, 1.2 meters or 70 centimeters) To install this antenna I attach the coax cable to the connector, run the coax cable through a length of PVC pipe, insert the pipe into the flag pole mount and la viola! for less than $20 for a cheap but effective…

Pros
  • PL259 connectors are great for RG214 RG213 9913 LMR400 coax
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
