Large White Wolverine Steel Cotton Review

I've been wearing tube socks my whole life. Sports, work, flying, hunting, fishing, camping etc. I have a foot size 10 4E and these socks are TUGI. Very tight. You are FAT too. At least three times thicker than my last pair of tube socks. However, they are of excellent build quality and if you are looking for hunting socks for looser boots in cold weather, I recommend them. Luckily only 2 pairs came in a pack as I won't be buying them again.

My husband loves these socks. It's hard to find socks that actually come down to the knee. They usually stop an inch or two from the knee and slide down the calf during the day. He's 6'1, wears size 12 shoes, and these socks only fit where he wants, up to the squat. The entire foot area and just above the ankle feels twice as thick. Many years ago Wilson had excellent socks with thick bottoms. Then they started using less and less cotton. So I switched to socks sold by Kmart. Kodiak socks were dense, thick, and durable. My husband LOVES these socks with a Wolverine steel toe cap over the calf. According to him, with a steel toe cap, they are very comfortable to wear in work and hiking shoes.
