Women'S 1950S Retro Vintage A-Line Cap Sleeve Party Dress - Homrain Review

Bought this for a Fall Wedding and I got lots of compliments. I did wear a petticoat to make it pop out a bit more, which enhanced the dress. Also, it was a bit tight through the chest area.

Neckline was not smooth, and the whole dress was thin and overall uncomfortable. Not at all what I expected. That's my feedback.

I normally wear a medium @ 5'7" & 150#. That's what I ordered and it fits perfect! I am not busty by any means (B cup), but I can fill out the top nicely. It can easily accomodate someone a bit bustier as it has a bit of stretch to the fabric. The neckline is absolutely beautiful on the dark blue polka dot! I was extremely pleasantly surprised by this dress. The fabric is a bit stiff but suits the style. I have gotten many compliments and it is very flattering. It’s vintage enough to be fun but I can get away with wearing it to the office. For a reference I am 5‘6", 110 lbs, 32DD bust, 25” waist and 33” hips and ordered the smallest size (can’t recall if small or extra small).

I love the fit, but the material could be better. Thin and sticks to fabrics without proper slip or petty coat. Other than that I love the contour of it and the fit. Worked well as costume dress for our musical this year.

This is not a dress for plus size ladies! I'm 280 pounds and 5'8" tall. I ordered a 3XL and you can see how the length looks on the attached picture. It's really tight at my chest 38 C bra and the material doesn't have much stretch to it. I love the dress but sadly I will have to return it because it does not fit. If only they could make bigger sizes!

I fell in love with the shape of this dress and it looks exactly like I had hoped. I got a size small. I am 5'4" and 123-ish pounds. This dress fits me perfectly. It is snug around the low ribs but the waist sits just above my natural waist so it isn't too tight there. It fits nicely in the bust as well (I am 34A). I really liked this dress. At first the material looks kind of cheap, but once you put it on, you can’t really tell. My dress was a little lose on the shoulders but fit well on my waist. But I would recommed a slip under!

Thin fabric, that comes in wrinkled but a nice looking dress. However, there were some loos threads at the zipper that I had to cut off because the zipper got stuck when going up and down. Also the yellow tone is more of a golden/dark shade and not like the picture on Revain. I was expecting a more true yellow or brighter shade so a bit disappointed with that.

I went with a 2xl just going on the other comments. It fit well, but I could of easily went with a xl. Go by the size chart. The black dress had material that has a little stretch. I'm 5 11 and this dress hits at the bottom of my knee. Even after adding a petticoat the length was perfect. This is well with the money!

I love this dress my husband water for me for my birthday. I enjoyed myself that night and felt like Elizabeth Taylor. How exciting and I have to admit my husband has great taste

Wonderful cotton fabric. Holds itself, but light. Finish is clean. Design is classic and lasting. Color is as pictured. Modest and chic. Fists perfectly.

My husband got me this dress, so I'm reviewing it here. And I love it. I'm curvy, with a big bust, and a small belly I haven't been able to lose since having a child, and I look great in this dress. People have asked be what boutique I got it at. It's also pretty comfortable, doesn't bind under my arms, or pinch, or ride up, or sag, even after wearing it all day, in the sun, dancing, or chasing after a small child.
