Very easy. I love this hat! It has a wide brim that protects my face from the sun's rays. Evil Evil Sunbeams! My neck and the sides of my face are also very well protected. I am very happy. The fabric is light and cool. There are even two cute scarves to spice up the hat. I even like that silly drawstring that helps keep the hat on your head in strong winds.

Just got back from a trip to the Southern Caribbean and I really liked how this cap worked. I used to have a hat with a brim that closed all the way and got in the way. It was very easy to pack and very light to carry. There are times when I don't want to wear it and wear it around my neck. You can do it with this one and it doesn't get in the way of leaning back in the seat. I also liked the fabric that fully protects the neck from the sun.

I bought this hat because the headline said UV protection. I have no reason to believe it is anything other than raw cotton in a lovely shade of blue. It would be nice to wear to a garden party, but don't expect it to filter out the sun's harmful rays. I am returning the hat because most sunscreens and hats have a label with their SPF rating. The Solaris hat did not have a rating tag either inside the hat or on a cardboard label attached to the hat. As I have a health condition that requires me to protect myself from the sun I did not feel comfortable wearing a hat as I am NOT sure hats can provide sun protection. I just found out I have melanoma and the next day I got heat exhaustion from gardening (Houston, hard clay, bright sun and June!).
