I am 5'8, 145-150lbs, 28" waist, 40" bust (with bra). I'm like a size 8-10 in pants and a l/xl on top due to my wide shoulders. I really like this dress. Frist order was a Med. my true size. The sleeves were very tight, since they are made of lace I was afraid they would tear if I over extended my arms, how you going to dance if you can't move your arms. lol Anyway took a chance and ordered the large, sleeves fit perfect everything else on dress was just too big. Too bad, if they could get the sleeve sizing right this dress is perfect. So returned the large.

I wore this dress on a cruise and it was comfortable, yet elegant enough for a formal evening. The dress washed in the machine and still looks great. The zipper is a little tricky but overall I was very pleased.

I am large busted and have a real problem finding dresses. This dress has just enough stretch to accomadate my bust and still fit perfectly.

First, I returned the dress, and still gave it 4 stars. The reason I returned it was the only negative - the dress in the picture looks like a natural waist, but the one I got had a waistband that was empire (above the waist), and the skirt was gathered so it looked like a baby-doll dress. I thought from the picture it was a natural waist with a smooth a-line, so this style didn't work for me. Loved the dress. Great quality for the money. The dress I received was similar but not what was pictured. It had a more modest neckline which I liked and would have kept it if it fit. Based upon the reviews, I ordered my normal size large. Definitely needed to order up a size or two.

Perfect amount of stretch but doesn't cling due to having a slip-like liner. This dress will camouflage a less than perfect midsection and put all the attention on the more attractive curves! It was SO comfortable, and I loved that I could just enjoy my event without thinking about sucking it in, standing up super straight, etc. It looks great in every photograph from every angle.

The dress fit beautifully (I wear a medium and ordered a medium…I’m 5’7”, 159lb, 38B), except one of the scallops on the chest folded down and stayed that way. Disappointing, but still a beautiful dress. Also, the lace easily snags on things.

For it to be a small it was a little to loose up top but it fit everywhere else just fine! Maybe someone with a bigger chest and small waist line would benefit better from it.
