Worth the price

The product is very well made. It definitely stabilizes my camera when I pan slowly. It's not a gyroscope and doesn't cancel out jerky or other rapid movement, but it does smooth out a lot of unwanted camera movement. It is an articulated arm with selectable counterweights.

Great little hanger

This is a hanging system for the home. I have a Canon M50 with a 70-300mm lens and a mic or light. You can't put too much weight on the top or have tall arms hanging off the camera before it gets too big. Great price and ease of use. Ideal for nice, simple shots for a smoother effect. 4/5 is not bad.

Good price but difficult to use

My husband records podcasts and videos with his electronic gimbal. Sometimes he wants two cameras, but stabilizers are very expensive. I saw this as an alternative to the cost of flowers, but it's quite difficult to use. He has an iPhone 11 pro max and can easily handle that weight, but there were no instructions and it was difficult to figure out how to set it up. The packaging is nice, but it's not a good comparison if you have an auto-adjusting gimbal. You have to be accurate to get the…

You get what you pay for -

I did not like this product at all. Sure, I have a Canon 80D and I assume it's intended for much smaller cameras, or maybe even just smartphones? It was clumsy and cumbersome - very difficult to set up. I had high hopes for it. I even asked my professional photographer friend to help me balance it and find a way to make it work. We are unlucky. You're going to spend a lot of time adjusting it - and constantly tweaking it because it slips and doesn't stay where you adjust it often. Save your…

Can be great, difficult to balance.

This is great value when you balance it right. The threaded hole in my chamber is off-center, which combined with its light weight and limited counterweight options, I couldn't balance without buying other things. There are three counterweights included in the kit, but in my case even one turned out to be too heavy. I went to the hardware store and bought washers instead. It helped, but not quite helped yet. I ended up sending it back and buying a more expensive electric gimbal instead. This…

Inexpensive way to get the most out of your old DSLR

You can spend $300 on a complete trainer for your old $300 DSLR or you can save some money and still get the most out of your old and bulkier cameras . Yes, it takes some time and patience to set everything right and get a good balance, but it's worth investing about 20 minutes to find a good middle ground. In general, the heavier your camera, the lower you should place the counterweight. The threaded nut can be moved to give you more options for mounting the camera, as the position of the…

For those who can't balance it

I got this gimbal the other day and like many people I've had trouble maintaining smooth video while walking. I have a tiny action camera that weighs only 2.6 ounces. I struggled most of the day balancing it to largely eliminate the shaking when walking. Then I saw a special video with very detailed instructions on how to properly balance the stabilizers. In that video the guy said that the biggest mistake people make is putting too much weight on the underside of the stabilizer because it…

Really good gimbal stabilizer option at a good price

Tried it out when it arrived, started with a brisk walk, walked a bit and then got in the car. I am impressed with the video quality achieved with this handheld camcorder gimbal stabilizer. a tool that uses both smart sensors and motors to stabilize and support the camera. It stabilizes the camera as you move it up and down, forward and backward, or side to side, allowing you to capture smooth footage or photos. This stabilizer uses 3 separate counterweights for precise adjustment, a rubberized
