Super sharp - art supplies

These scissors are sharp! The jagged edges make it easy to trim the fabric. It is comparable to my expensive quilting scissors, but much cheaper. I love her! Also a great protective case so I can take it with me on the go and not worry about cutting my bag.

As expected

I bought scissors to make collages. They're great for making sharp, clean cuts that don't leave threads on the edges of fabric. I saw a comment about them not cutting all the way to the top. There must have been a defect in this pair, because mine cut surprisingly well. If this happens to you, you can trade them in because they are supposed to do what they advertise. I am very comfortable.

Great scissors at a better price than comparable products.

These scissors are designed for precision work. Perfect for paper cutting if I had the patience for intricate paper designs. The points are almost dangerous, and the serrated blades are amazingly sharp. I use them to cut appliqué for my quilt designs and find them handy for sewing and crafting. I haven't had them long enough to comment on how well they will hold their lead. I think that the notch can interfere with sharpening.

Not Karen Kay Buckley Quality

If you have used Karen Kay Buckley's scissors and this is what you are looking for, these scissors are not for you. Well if you don't understand the difference. Good if you are on a budget. This would be a good budget set but I went back because I have a lot of these. I will order a pair of large scissors from Karen Kay Buckley when I receive my refund. You have to use more force to cut. The fabric will fold in the scissors if the angle and pressure are not accurate. The serrated edge is a bit…

Good but not great.

I have a pair of Karen K shears. I thought I'd save some money and buy these three packs. Side by side made medium sized. They're good, but they don't cut as smoothly as Karen K's. They're a bit more difficult to use, which makes my hand tire quicker and therefore I tinker less, which is bad. Rschunimagu. I give them back and get others. They're good, but I can hear and feel unlike the other micro-pikes, which I can't. If you just want some pretty good scissors, these are perfect. Definitely…

SAME AS KKB

I bought this pair first because they cost $5 less than the KK pair. I wasn't impressed with them as I have plus sizes. They're a little too mushy. After reading the reviews, I decided to pay an additional $5 for another brand to compare. As you can see, there is practically no difference. There is no difference in their feel, in their sharpness, in their ability to cut. They feel and sound exactly the same. I think the SIZE of these scissors is too small for BOTH BRANDS. Because of the size…

Very happy with these scissors!

I bought some wonderful scissors from Emma Oliver for the holidays so I can do better crafts that I love to do. One of my favorite things to do is weave fleece blankets. I had to tie knots on the ends where I cut because we could never cut the material straight with regular scissors, even new ones. I did a little research and a lady advised me to get a pair of serrated scissors. I was checking out Revain and found this pair from Emma Oliver. Despite being a smaller pair, the handles were large…

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
