They were packed in layers in a plastic bag - the toothbrushes were individually wrapped in polyethylene and on top of that thrown in a plastic bag. They're not even very well made. They are very uncomfortable in shape and obviously not with soft bristles.

I'm an eco-hippie like you are, and I'm willing (and do) to make significant sacrifices every day to help the environment help. I haven't been able to use these brushes for over a week. My teeth were always dirty no matter how long or how often I brushed them. The wood isn't very smooth, so it literally digs into my cheeks. I've tried a few, it wasn't just a bad batch. Very sad about that.

Great toothbrushes! These are the only ones my teenage daughter will use and I love that they are eco friendly. She used them to brush her teeth with Invisalign tips on her teeth and no problem!

I loved Woobamboo! before, but this time bought toothbrushes with extra soft bristles. They are amazing! I'm an elderly person so many toothbrushes are too rough for my old gums. They clean my teeth gently and are also biodegradable. Made by a responsible company and affordable!

I bought this toothbrush in the first place because I hate all new plastic toothbrushes. They don't brush well. Bamboo toothbrushes are eco-friendly and I like brushing my mouth with them.
