We’ve been using these for the last few months as my toddler gets older. There are several pieces that are clearly choking hazards that we just threw out immediately but today- both of the handled maracas twisted apart and my toddler got ahold of the tiny beads inside. The paint covers where the handle can twist off exposing the inside. I purchased this during the pandemic as a special gift for children of a neighbor. (Aged 3, 4 and 7.)The kids loved the set and each had a particular instrument they loved. The parents were happy as well - even though they are noise-makers, the sounds are not really loud and the kids enjoy trying to make music with their siblings as well as play along with their favorite tunes.Still holding up well after a lot of play - I highly recommend!
