I was surprised at how small some of the parts were. The small blocks in the center of each gear are small enough for my 20 month old to fit completely in his mouth. I am not at all comfortable with this toy.

I assembled a desk for my granddaughter. Most of the toys, like the table, were handmade. I figured the table needed something with gears, so I looked around for gears. When I found this beautiful colorful butterfly gear toy with its original gear design shape and color, I decided I couldn't do better and bought it. That's a hit.

I bought this toy despite reading reviews online. The packaging was fine, my problem was pop up sticks. Two of them were the same, and unfortunately he couldn't identify the bear. I also have trouble getting the poles to float. I recommend checking these little details before packing to make sure customers are happy. If possible I would like to return it as I did not get what I paid for. Thank you.

This is a difficult toy for a 2 year old baby. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone younger than 3 or 4. The peculiarity of this toy is that as soon as you remove one part, the whole structure falls apart and the gears come loose. Therefore, when you want to reassemble the toy, you must PERFECTLY align EACH PIECE IMMEDIATELY, otherwise the gears will not align and will not move. Good luck getting that little kid to understand such complex mechanisms. Otherwise it's a nice toy.

I am the owner of a small home daycare and bought it because it really covers multiple learning skills; Gross and fine motor skills, colors, shapes, movement, cause and effect, juxtaposition, differences and it's absolutely magical for imaginary play as it transforms into cookies, decorations and sandwiches. This is a very cute toy, lovely characters, well designed, solid wood and immaculate paintwork. I've only had it a day so can't say if it will stand the test of time, but I'm pretty sure it will. My son is too small (8 months old) and he uses the characters like lollipops so I can put him down and wait a little longer for him to play with him more like you should. This is an unusual toy and I would very much like to buy it again. My son is 2 years old and was diagnosed with ASD. He does not play well with many toys and is much younger in development than he is. But he plays so well with this toy! We offered him the option with a butterfly.
