Not in good condition for dogs

I bought this for a boxer who was losing control of his back legs and I wanted the traction and protection it was supposed to provide. His socks kept twisting on his foot and slipping off when he moved. It wasn't help.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • No performance

One suggestion for improvement

They work well for my 11 year old English Shepherd but I have a suggestion - like all dog socks they squirm from paw to paw at times. Traction points on top of paw. Why not add traction material all the way around so there's always traction no matter how hard your toe twists?

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Template size is wrong!

Our chocolate lab weighs 89 pounds. We measured his paws with a template and he was big. Absolutely NO socks fit on his front paws. We can use them on his back legs with some work, but they're useless on his front legs. We found another manufacturer of dog traction socks that work on all 4 legs, so do your homework first.

Pros
  • Outstanding Design
Cons
  • Some Cons

I printed out a page with dimensions and selected the type of paw.

I printed out a measurement sheet and chose the type and size of paws for my dog. The size we received seemed quite small to us. We had the following problems: The mouth and neck of the sock was very tight, making it very difficult to put it on our dog's paws. Once they were dressed, he seemed uncomfortable. As he walked, the socks slowly slipped down until he took them off.

Pros
  • A Sea of Positive Emotions
Cons
  • Model Legacy

Don't waste your money

Don't waste your money. They didn't work at all, slipping off my dog's paws even when I got them right, and his toe claws were tearing through the flimsy material in minutes. Oddly enough, I began to think that socks for a baby would be about the same. I went to Walmart in the kids section and found exactly the same thing with the same pattern for about $4. I cannot stress enough that this is a robbery.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Very comfortable, best on dogs

My boxer had problems with his bum and had difficulty walking on slippery floors. These socks do a great job of giving him traction. However, I would suggest that it would be nice if you put a "non-stick coating" around the toe so the dog can continue to get traction and not slip while turning. Then we wouldn't have to constantly correct and flip them. You are a great product.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Some bugs

Essential for old dogs on slippery floors

Great accessory for your aging dog. Our 80 pound pointer is losing control of his back legs and is having serious problems with wooden stairs and floors. With them he can walk and climb stairs without our help. Without them, he cannot keep his legs under him and would have to be put down. Really great product. The only downside is that they aren't very strong, so they should be removed before the Doge goes outside. They are only good for internal use. Get the right size - they need to be snug…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • High price

There are two old rescue dogs that, despite misplaced runners, occasionally slip and slide on the laminate. I ordered two pairs for them. They are thin but seem durable. One dog is used to wearing booties in cold weather, the other not so much, but they have no problem with it. The only downside is that you have to take them off when you go outside, but if that helps you then it's worth it. Especially since they fit very well when undressing and putting on.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Damaged

Great idea but could use a little modification to improve it

I am buying these for my 12 year old Labrador who has trouble slipping and sliding on hardwood floors. We have carpets in every room but he had trouble moving from room to room. He accepted the socks well and will wear them without any problems. They work wonders for him on hardwood, BUT. Since he doesn't quite raise his legs when walking on one of the mats (thus dragging his toes slightly), the slippers gradually slip off. With a little modification like velcro over the top of the toe to hold…

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • Repair
