Nice cups, please reconsider the packaging!

Why is Awareness so Expensive? Cups hold up perfectly, there is nothing to complain about the quality. Annoying that they are packaged in plastic on the tube of the cups and then in additional plastic that connects the two tubes of the cups together. What? Why is their plastic in my purchase to discourage plastic use?

Pros
  • Disposable Drinkware
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Will melt / lose shape in the hot sun!

I love the fact that these cups don't end up in landfill so feel free to use them; ordered 300 for a big party and they are holding up great! But a stack of these melted as we sat in our bar in the hot sun! It was fun - and we used them for shot glasses - ha! I think it's good to know that they actually compost!

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Some Bugs

Deformed compostable cups

I don't think the problem was with the manufacturer of these biodegradable cups, it was somewhere along the way. They must have been very hot because they arrived worn out and could not be used. These cups are meant to be composted and decomposed in landfills, but their downside is that they cannot be subjected to excessive heat without softening and changing shape.

Pros
  • Paper and plastic
Cons
  • Expensive
