Seems like a good box for the money. Fits in my XL helmet with room for a few other small items. Installing the plate on my V-strom was easy, just a little imagination and effort. No drilling was required. It is convenient for woman to use it as a backrest. It almost matches the Suzuki boxes but is a little darker and the top is black. Lined inside which is nice. The box is fixed on the bracket and can be easily removed with a key. I would probably buy again.

At first I thought the top case wasn't aluminum as advertised. The seller responded quickly and stated that it was aluminum with a protective coating. Not what I expected but the price wasn't bad considering there was a 30% off coupon when ordering. I'll have to try it out for a day or so to decide whether to keep it or not. The mounting plate fits my BMW G310gs well. Suitable for commuting and holds an adventure style full face helmet. would probably not have survived the fall in off-road use.

Easy to assemble base plate. I've had to ride in most weather conditions for most of this year (21 years). Keeps things dry inside. The only thing to watch out for is the weight of your luggage rack. My '06 Shadow Spirit 1100 has a 10 lb max listed on the stock shelf. Believe me, he just noticed 2 cracks in my luggage rack.
