Why did I listen to all the reviews saying you can go up a size? Not correct! If I had ordered the right size they would be perfect. My child does not have wide feet. But the way they sit, they need to be neat and the right size. My son wears 3 in Nike and I've ordered up to 4 and they are an inch maybe an inch and a half too big and the gap doesn't go from the toe to the front of the shoe it goes in the back so there is a lot of heel gap. IDEAL for the lake. No velcro or tampering. We have ordered them twice and they are great! Order a size up if you want them to last 2 years. They basically stick to your kids feet like glue so size doesn't matter as long as they aren't too small and their toes are crunchy OR if they are too big and can't walk without breaking the front. But we ordered one size larger than our child due to the odd size, so it fits longer. I am dying to get myself and my husband some adults!
